1. The Devonshire

The traditional bar and seating at The Devonshire pub in Soho, London

What better way to kick off November than by visiting a brand-new London boozer to grab the perfect pint of Guinness? Warm, welcoming, and open to all, The Devonshire has now taken its rightful spot on the corner of Soho’s Denman Street. Complete with a classic pub feel, an in-house butcher and bakery, and an upstairs ember grill dining space, it’ll undoubtedly be an addition to the city’s drinking scene that you never knew you needed. Get ready to be comforted by their lamb hotpot, sausage and mash, and pumpkin risotto, all whilst taking in an atmosphere that feels as though it’s already intertwined with Soho’s history.

2. Pearly Queen

Buffalo Oyster special at Pearly Queen in Shoreditch, London

Seafood lovers might want to be keeping their eyes ‘pearled’ whilst wandering through Commercial Street this month, and it can only mean one thing… chef Tom Brown is finally ready to unleash his oyster bar and restaurant. A place where they aren’t just an aphrodisiac but a lifestyle, oysters, both fresh and grilled, will be a huge focus of the menu with regular specials, the first being crispy buffalo with a ranch dressing - unconventional but undeniably delicious. If that alone isn’t enough to spark your appetite, you could also be tucking into fresh seafood platters, grilled lobster, and a 100-layer cuttlefish lasagne with a Pearly Martini to wash it all down.

Coming very soon…

Trejo’s Tacos

We all love him on the big screens, but it’s almost time to see if Danny Trejo knows a thing or two about tacos. Spoiler alert… he most definitely does if his US restaurants are anything to go by. Notting Hill marks the spot and there’ll be room for 100 taco lovers both indoors and on the open-air terrace. To give you a trailer of the menu, expect to be tucking into steak asada tacos and shrimp tostadas whilst fighting a delicious brain freeze with the Frozen OG Margarita.
