1. DF Tacos x Market Hall Victoria

What better way to spend a summer’s afternoon than leisuring on Victoria Market Hall’s rooftop with a frozen cocktail in hand? As well as providing London with their fix of delicious Mexican dishes, DF Tacos are also whipping up a selection of tangy frozen margaritas for takeaway with flavour options including the classic, berry and hibiscus, and passionfruit made with 100% agave Cuervo Tradicional tequila. This indie cocktail bar is a dream come to life for local Peckham hospitality couple, Sergio and Anna who materialised their passion for high quality mixology as well as funk, hip hop, and soul bangers. Their one of a kind Frosé Paloma remains to be their best seller even in the winter months lovingly created with Rosè wine, 100% Agave Blanco Tequila, and their homemade grapefruit cordial. Conveniently, this laidback venue is nestled by Peckham Rye Park making it the perfect place to grab your frozen beverage and spend the late afternoon under the sun’s healing rays.

3. The Red Lion and Sun

Award-winning North London pub, The Red Lion and Sun have become a local favourite for frozen cocktails in the sunshine when they first brought out their old fashioned frozen margarita cart during the first lockdown of 2020. Now a regular occurrence during the summertime, lovers of the alcoholic slushy can grab one at the cart and take a seat in one of their two spacious beer gardens or even head on over to Hampstead Heath to set up camp for the day amongst the trees.

Within the very fancy The Standard hotel in Kings Cross is a 70s-inspired bar and terrace space known as Double Standard. You may have heard about their boozy Bloody Brunch events but did you know that they’re also famous for their slushy spritzes? With past offerings including a frozen aperol spritz, their Snowball brunch special, and a pornstar martini, you know where you’ll find us this summer. Visitors can also take advantage of a stunning sunset by escaping up to their rooftop bar for panoramic views of the city’s skyline or bask in the heat by grabbing a seat in their suntrap of a terrace garden.

Setting the tone in Carnaby for hearty fresh pasta dishes accompanied by a playful frozen cocktail (a combination we never knew we needed) is Pastaio. Whether you want to take a respite from the warm weather or bag a prime people watching spot outdoors, it’ll be the perfect occasion to try one of their current slushy options. The Soho branch holds onto their prosecco slushies all year round with flavourings such as lemon and blood orange for an ice cold sparkling treat. The Cut is an independent bar, restaurant, and cafe all rolled into one as part of the Young Vic theatre just a short stroll away from the southbank.
