5 Pubs & Bars in London For The Cheapest Pints Around

If there’s one thing us Londoners know how to do best, it’s enjoying a few pints in some of the city’s bustling pubs and bars, even when it’s not always the most affordable option. There’s no denying that the price of alcohol is increasing in London lately, but what if we told you there were still plenty of places to enjoy a cheap pint out? From cosy pints of Guinness for less than £4 to 2-4-1 tasty tipples, here are the best budget-friendly pours just in time for the Bank Holiday weekend. Eager for more? 1. The Nags Head, Peckham

traditional english pub

Fans of Only Fools and Horses may recognise the name of this pub (warning: it’s not actually related to the hilarious sitcom as far as we’re aware), but this cheery local’s favourite does pull a good pint and for an even better price too. Nominated for the TimeOut Love Local Awards in 2021, The Nags Head is a friendly, old-fashioned boozer nestled along Rye Lane that offers affordable drinks, live sport screenings, and a sun-soaked beer garden. We recommend trying their Guinness for only £3.70 a pint.

Pouring beer since 2010, The Euston Tap is the spot to go for beer, beer, and well, even more beer. With 18 kegs and 7 casks from some of the best breweries in the UK, you can sip your way through German, Czech, and British beers. And, as with any good drinks list, they offer these on a sliding scale that starts at only £4.50 for a pint of cask beer. The coolest bit? It’s housed in two separate lodge buildings, so you can pop between either for a quick and easy pub crawl.

Escape the hustle and bustle of London with Escapologist, an underground basement serving tantalising cocktails and unique creations.
