1. Southbank Centre Winter Market
Picture this: the Southbank we all know and love is transformed into a twinkling, frosty wonderland, with striking, sweeping views of the riverside - one of the things you need experience in London. You might find yourself relaxing in one of Jimmy's Fire & Fromage heated lodges, scoffing plates of truffle burgers and molten cheese toasties, or sipping a warm cup of mulled wine as you browse the alpine-style chalets for a thoughtful present. Once you’ve packed your bag full of presents, head to the sleigh, sorry, the neighbourhood’s glassy ice rink, pop on a pair of skates and glide towards the twinkling lights and views of the Queen’s House! Add comforting street food to all that and you’ve got yourself a magical day out.

3. Leicester Square Christmas Market
If you’re not already in awe of the West End’s theatre scene, then the glimmering lights and magical atmosphere of Leicester Square Christmas Market will certainly catch your eye. For the perfect food and drink event in London, browse the rustic-wooden cabins for the perfect present to pop under the Christmas tree, or pick up a winter warmer at the stalls selling German mulled wine and traditional Bratwursts. Afterwards, head to the Belgian Spiegeltent to catch a spectacular performance of the multi award-winning cabaret La Clique, which has finally returned after a sell-out show in 2022.
